Null’s Clash vs Clash of Clans – Which One Should You Play?

Clash of Clans, aka COC, is the official strategy game made by Supercell, and the Nulls Clash is the most popular private server of the game. One is played by billions of players, highly rewarding, competitive, and a long-term journey, while the other fulfilled the dreams of most COC fans by giving them unlimited gems.

About Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is a base-building strategy game developed by Supercell in 2012. You start with a small Town Hall, a cannon, and some barbarians, and your task is to upgrade your Town Hall and build a powerful base to protect it against opponents’ attacks.

You train your army to attack other real players, loot their resources, and use those resources to upgrade your base. Upgrading the Town Hall unlocks new defenses, troops, spells, and heroes. It’s a long-term game where you need patience and strategic planning. There are clans to play with other players and help each other.

Features of COC

  • It has three different areas to play & upgrade – Home Village, Builder Base, and Clan Capital.
  • It has lots of hero skins and base sceneries to customize your base.
  • You can create or join a clan and play with your friends and other players around the world.
  • Supercell releases new events and content every month.
  • You can connect your account with Supercell ID to save your base and load it on another device.
  • Clan wars, CWL, and ranked battles are highly competitive and rewarding.

About Nulls Clash

Nulls Clash is the unofficial and modified version of the COC running on private servers owned by third-party developers, not by Supercell. You get unlimited gems, gold, elixir, dark elixir, BB gold & elixir, and raid medals. Instead of upgrading levels one by one, you can just use the commands to instantly max out your Town Hall, troops, heroes, defenses, traps, etc.

The dreams of COC players having unlimited gems & a maxed-out base come true on this private server. It also has all paid hero skins, sceneries & decorations unlocked for free. Its philosophy isn’t about grind; it’s all about enjoying everything without spending time and money.

Features of Nulls Clash

  • You get unlimited resources like gems, gold, elixir, etc.
  • It comes with commands that instantly upgrade your base to the max level.
  • All hero skins & sceneries are free.
  • You can attack your newly designed base without waiting for 24-hours cooldown.
  • You don’t have to wait for months and years to build your maxed-out base.
  • You can test out new attack strategies and base layouts at their max level.

Clash of Clans vs Nulls Clash

The gameplay in both these games is the same; the difference is in their approach towards the economy and progression.

Progression:

COC: In COC, you have to attack & loot other players’ bases to collect resources and use them to upgrade the buildings & resources. You have to decide what to upgrade first and what to upgrade last. It takes a few hours to days at earlier levels, but it starts taking weeks for a single level to finish, which slows your progression at higher Town Hall levels.

Null’s Clash: In NC, the progression is instant. You don’t need to attack, loot, or collect resources to upgrade the buildings. You get unlimited resources and commands. With the commands, you can instantly upgrade the Town Hall to any level and max out every building, troop, spell, hero, pet & equipment to their max level. It shifts the focus from farming to only battles.

Matchmaking

COC: It has very balanced matchmaking based on your Town Hall and trophies. In normal battles, you can find TH bases one level above & below yours, and in Ranked battles, you will mostly be matched against the same TH level opponents.

Nulls Clash: Here, every player’s base is maxed out just like yours. So you will find all max TH-level bases with fully upgraded defences.

Skins, Sceneries & Other Paid Content

COC: COC has lots of amazing hero skins, sceneries for home village, builder base & war base, and decorations. And they release a full set of hero skins every month, one in the gold pass & others 5 in $6.99 or $9.99 (legendary) in the shop. Some decorations can be exchanged in the events for medals, but only if you skip the main reward. Otherwise, you have to buy the event pass. Supercell also releases decorations in in-app purchases costing around $0.99. Sceneries are around $6.99 while XXL sceneries cost $14.99.

NC: All of these paid cosmetics, like hero skins, decorations, and sceneries, including time-limited content, are unlocked for free. You can equip any of them you like. You don’t need to spend any money.

Clans & Features

COC: In COC, clans play a huge role. Players create or find a clan to stay inhere, to play wars, CWL, clan games, and raids. At first, it’s to earn extra rewards to level up their base, but with time, they build long-lasting friendships, help each other, and level up their clans. Everything they achieve in clans feels satisfying.
NC: You can also join or create clans in Nulls Clash, play wars & CWL, but they don’t play any role. Every player is already maxed. They can fill their CC troops with raid medals. There’s no benefit to joining the clans. And players quit Nulls Clash faster as it gets boring, as there’s nothing else to accomplish.

Server & Stability

COC: COC runs on official Supercell servers. They are highly stable and optimized. You can smoothly play the game anywhere with a mobile network. And the crashes hardly occur sometimes. After an update, there might be some bugs & glitches, but they fix them quickly.

NC: It runs on private servers owned by third-party developers. They are a small team compared to Supercell, but they do well. You can sometimes feel lag, connection issues, or crashes after a new update. But they are fixed after a few days.

Updates & New Content

COC: Supercell releases a new season every month with a new set of hero skins and scenery, alongwith new events. And their huge updates usually include new troops, spells, heroes, buildings, and new levels.

NC: Nulls Clash takes a few days’ delay after a COC update, and if it’s a major COC update, then it can take up to weeks to add the new content to Nulls Clash.

Which One Should You Play?

So, which one will you choose? IMO, Clash of Clans is the best. You can’t get the sense of achievement from slowly building & upgrading your base in the Nulls Clash. Nulls Clash is only for short-term gameplay when you just want to experience a maxed-out base without spending time. But you will get bored of it soon, as you have nothing left to do or achieve.

Instead, you can use it as a training ground to test out various attack strategies at their max level and see which one is better. Recently, Supercell released Dragon Duke with 3 new equipment, and it’ll take a lot of time upgrading all three of them. You can test them out in the Nulls Clash first to find the best combination. Then you can upgrade that specific equipment first in your main COC account. It’ll save your time and ores. And Clash of Clans will be your long-lasting strategy game.
